This is the view from my office window. I will probably never have a better view from an office. I may make this my "cover" photo if the fog clears from BC and I can get it in the photo.
God has blessed me with a wonderful wife, Heather, and three wonderful children, Isaac, Olivia and Boyd. We moved to Colorado in August of 2006 after I accepted a job as an Engineer for the Town of Avon. Up until this move, we lived our entire lives in the very southern portion of the great state of IL (Whitetail Heaven) alongside our families and lifelong friends.
I had made three previous trips to CO on DIY bowhunting trips for elk. Although none of the trips resulted in elk on the table, they instilled in me a love for the mountains that I could not contain. When the opportunity to live, work, raise a family and bowhunt here came around, I jumped at the chance and have relied upon God as our keeper. So far He has done just that and He has continued to lead us by guiding us to a wonderful church, Trinity Church in Edwards, that has provided many friends. While these friends will never replace those from home, they are a tremendous blessing.
The words and photos you see here will be a reflection of my experiences as not only a bowhunter but a new resident of Colorado.
I'm 41 years old and have been married to Heather for 16 years. I have three children: Isaac, Olivia and Boyd.
I am happy to say I'm a Christian and know that it is through Christ Jesus that I am "given life and life more abundantly".
I love bowhunting deer and elk, anything for that matter, and I'm a fanatical turkey hunter.
